Using the same technology as the Internet

An IP camera system uses the same technology that all PCs on a network use, this is the IP part which stands for Internet Protocol. Using IP technology allows for the system to work across the Internet and compatible mobile phones, this is the strengths of the systems.

Fig 1

The diagram shows the system at work, it is a two way system allowing you to be able to log in and view in real time from anywhere you have Internet access.

The camera can be set to store the images on a hardrive which can be set to re record to your requirement's.

Monitors 24/7 365

  • Never have to worry about having to rewind your old analogue recording tapes or even have to be there as the system can be configured to record data based on your requirement's (daily, weekly etc).

Secure Log in via an Internet browser

  • Allocate who ever you wish to be able to log in to the system and view real time images.

Remote Pan / Tilt Control

  • You can view the system via a web interface and be able to pan and tilt the cameras to adjust the angles form a computer or cell phone in another location.

Get SMS Alerts Sent Direct To Your Mobile or e-mail.

  • The system can be enabled to capture images that have been triggered on the system which then sends alerts direct to your mobile phone (if compatible) or e-mail account

Records Digital Quality Images

  • The system can record and store images to a P.C. or server and can be set to re record to meet your requirements. We recommend using our server solution which will enable you to be able to record large amounts of data which can also be backup to our off site servers for extra security.
  • As with CCTV you will never have to worry about having to rewind a tape as the system will automatically record to a P.C. Another massive benefit is the quality of the image. The system records digitally meaning that the quality of the image will not deteriorate over time as the old video tapes systems do.
